Fincas and Rural Hotels in Focus

Rural Hotels

Many tourists nowadays look for a quieter setting where they can relax and enjoy their stay in Mallorca without having to deal with the press of mass tourism. Because of this rural areas are becoming more popular as a tourist destination leading to Agrotourism or Rural Tourism.

Tourists who opt for rural tourism find that they have two excellent choices when it comes to accommodations: the fincas and the rural hotels. Though both are situated in rural areas these two types of accommodations are very much different in what they used to be. Rural hotels are usually old mansions or manors that have been renovated to become grand hotels wherein guests are can expect to live in luxury. Fincas on the other hand are old farmhouses and country estates that have also been refurbished so as to be fit for welcoming tourists. Fincas are still used for agriculture and the estates are usually very large giving its guests lots of room to roam about while feeling lost in old time Mallorca.

Fincas and rural mansions are both luxury accommodations where guests can expect not only privacy, as they only accept a few guests at time with their pretty limited rooms, but also the same excellent facilities and services one can find in four-star hotels like spa services, swimming pools, saunas, and various activities that can be arranged by the finca or rural hotel for its guests. The facilities and services as well as activities offered of course vary from one establishment to the next with some offering more bonuses than others. Some of the activities in rural hotels and even fincas include biking, horseback riding, and even sports activities like tennis. Depending on the location guests can also visit nearby beaches or go hiking and trekking in nearby mountain trails.

One constant thing about rural tourism is that guests can be sure to find themselves small relatively unspoilt villages amongst welcoming and hospitable people. Rural tourism offers real peace and quiet where one can enjoy your vacation at a slow pace without the usual frenzy one can expect in the more tourist-filled places.

All Inclusive Holidays and Hotels in Focus

Mallorca Hotels

All inclusive holidays are one of the fastest growing trends among tourists visiting Mallorca. All inclusive holidays and packages simply mean that when one books this package he pays for everything he might need or want to do during his trip including the transportation (both to and from Mallorca as well as the transportation within Mallorca), accommodations, board (depending on the package this can be three full meals a day or breakfast only), drinks, side trips, excursions, and tours, and every little or small bonus the package might give like tickets to special shows. Each holiday package differs in inclusion and price depending on who you book it from.

Holiday packages providers are usually large tour operators and even hotel resorts that have caught on the fact that more and more tourists are starting to prefer this kind of vacation.

One of the major perks of booking an all inclusive holiday package is the convenience it affords you since you simply have to pay for everything once and not need to hassle yourself with the details. The tour operator or the hotel will make all the necessary reservations for you and all you need to do is board the right plane and wait for your pre-arranged airport transfer to go to your hotel for your all inclusive holiday.

All inclusive holidays might seem more expensive to some but the truth is that if you calculate what you need to pay for each item included in the package it is likely that you’ll be paying more if you don’t book an all inclusive package. This is especially true if you book directly with a hotel because they give small discounts to encourage tourists to take advantage of the package.

When going on an all inclusive holiday though keep in mind that you still of course need pocket money for the little things you might want to purchase that are not included in you all inclusive holiday.

Note that not all resorts have all inclusive holiday packages. Most resorts that have all inclusive holidays are those that are near the beach. If you have any qualms about booking into a new hotel with this kind of package you shouldn’t really worry though since resorts and hotels that offers all inclusive packages are usually top quality.
